It's Raining Man...!  🌧☂ It was not easy to stand still in this stormy and rainy weather! 😉 This raincoat was a test I made before I participate in  The Norwegian Sewing Bee 2017 I had to be sure that I could manage to sew it within 5 hours 30 min! I choose to use a colorful lining in the hood. I had to iron every seam with a special tape to make sure that it's safe to use! Magnet buttons was a perfect choice together with the zipper,  but of course the welt pockets were a challenge!

I'm still very found of printed fabric! I don't know why, but it's always catching my eyes when I'm fabric shopping... The top is great together with jeans and it's very wearable 😊 I've used the same pattern for a  Dress  earlier and I like the pleats at the front. Pattern is from BurdaStyle 05/2009

I'm always curious to see how my dress will look like  after cutting apart several garments to make it..! 😅 My mum's old sweater is the eye-catching for this dress, and it makes me Happy to wear it because it remains me of her 💗 The red top is from the wool dress and the sleeves from the white sweater. For the waist I have used a part of the wool top. I made pockets for the skirt and sewed an exposed zipper in front.  The collar is made of a piece I have left from a cardigan. My husband always makes me laugh when he is taking the pictures! 😄

My lovely model and good friend, Inger Hanne 💕   This is another Japanese technic I've learned from Shingo Sato. I start with the upper part and draw the lines I want to have. Then I lengthen the the edges of the curves to make a sash. I also drew a line for the back to make it more special.  The skirt is based on a pattern from BurdaStyle. I made a flounce on the skirt lining to make it softer. The skirt is based on  Burdastyle pattern #121 04/2016

  This is one of my favorite Colors which I love! 💗 I'm always curious to try new patterns, and this was no exception... The pleats in front, both for the top and the skirt makes it unique and special. I like this style and it's perfect for any occasion.  It's an easy pattern, but I think it is important to use a steady jersey. I have used medium weight courtelle jersey, and I'm Happy with the outcome 😊                                  Burdastyle pattern #113 10/2018

Pinted fabric is one of my favorites! 💢 This is an easy top made from BurdaStyle pattern #112 04/2009 I had a bit left of the bronze fabric which I though was nice together with the printed jersey. I made a split as a finish at the end of the sleeves. I have used this pattern several times, and if you like you can see my  Jersey/Lace top or my Winter wonderland top The pattern is perfect to combine different fabric 😉 BurdaStyle pattern #112 04/2009

 Sara is the lucky owner of the kimono / bathrobe I made  when I was participating in the Norwegian Sewing bee last year. We were going to make a luxury dressing gown / bathrobe within 3 hours 30 min! I chose to use viscose fabric combined with satin. The bathrobe should have collar, side-pockets and  the belt were suppose to have a creative detail. I made a wrap-belt decorated with ribbons and pearls. I'm really happy with the outcome which I managed within the time-limit! I think the bathrobe suits Sara very well 💗  Based on BurdaStyle pattern #128 11/2009
