Jersey Top
Vintage fabric is awesome!
This is an easy top to make,
but the details around the neck makes it special.
The upper layer is gathered, and since I have used jersey
I had to pay attention.
At the end of the sleeves I have used rubber-band.
- and yeah, it was a little cold outside! 😜
Another lovely top I like very much, Ellen !
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear :) Thank you very much Zsuzsa!
DeleteBeautiful top - the neck and sleeves give it just that extra interest but the overall simplicity of the pattern really highlights this gorgeous fabric!!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me happy to hear :) Thanks a lot for your lovely compliments Kathleen!
DeleteI saw that in the magazine and wanted to try it - so glad to see it sewn up. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Beth! I have already made another one too ;-))
DeleteI like this top much better in jersey. It drapes really nicely. Did you size down because you weren't using woven?
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Karey! I didn't size it down, but I think it's a good idea to make it a size smaller than you normally use :)
DeleteGreat top, fabric suits it.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot dear Rita! :)
DeleteReally cute top!
