Holiday Dress ☼

I decided to make a playful dress of this lovely stretch jersey I got from my sewingbee friend @mocecsyr 😉

I remember the dress I made for BurdaStyle's  Member Model Challenge and thought the pattern would be a great choice!

I like the square wide of the skirt and the pockets at the sides.

It's very easy to sew, and comfy to wear! 👗

I was the lucky winner of this Member Model Challenge
and I got my picture on the pattern 😅

  1. Congratulations for the Challenge win. As a longtime Burda magazine subscriber, I look forward to your makes. I had somehow managed to overlook the jersey version of this dress in the magazine. Their photo doesn't show it to best advantage. The French dart gives a really nice fit and makes it easy to do an FBA. I think I'm too short to carry off the drapey skirt the way you do, but now you've drawn my attention to it, can see hacking it to an A-line skirt or just a top to suit my short size.

    1. Thank you very much Karey! It's nice to hear that you are a BurdaStyle "fan" as well :) The fit is really nice for this model, so I don't think you need to worry about your short size. Of course the dress looks nice with high heels, but you can make it as short as you like. Happy sewing to you!
