Maxi Dress for a Wedding 💗

I fell in love with this beautiful fabric!

I wanted to make a maxi dress to wear for a wedding.
This is a pattern I have saved for the right fabric, so I hope I will be happy with the dress :)

All the parts are cut, and I'm excited how I will manage to stitch them together.

The front part was a bit tricy, but I think I managed.

The pleats for the waist are folded in place,

and stitched to the waist of the dress.

I had to sew the zipper in place very precisely to match the middle at the back.

This is a smart way to shorten the zipper.

The side seams are stitched toghether.

The facing is stitched around the neck.

I decided to omit the long sleeves, and I had to make facing for the armholes as well.

I think this will be one of my Favorite dresses!
