Dress for a Sweetie 💛

I showed the pattern to this lovely girl and ask her what color she would like to have,
and she chose yellow 💛

At first, I stitched the side seams, and the short sleees to the dress.

Then I did the same for the lining.
Both fabric are cotton voile, so it's very nice and soft to wear.

The lining is stitched together at the neck and the sleeves. I hade to make a split at the neck first,
and then I used very narrow zig-zak stitches around the neck and sleeve hem,

- and cut close to the stitches.

I made a tunel for the drawstring and rubberband for the neck opening.

I also made tunels for the rubber-band at the sleeve hem.

I also had to stitch a tunel at the waist for the rubber-band.
The hem is stitched separat for both the dress and lining.

The rubber-band and the draw-string are in place.

The girl was excited when she got the dress,
and she was wearing it right away :)
