Quilted fabric Dress!

 
This is a rather new pattern from BurdaStyle 12/23,
but I have made a similar dress with colorblocking earlier.
I have used quilted jersey and it's a bit heavy so it was a good choise for the pattern.

This is all the parts afterI have cut it out.

I started with sewing the fake pockets,

and they are made of a double layer of fabric.

Then I stitched the upper part to the lower part.

I stitched the zipper at the back,

and top stitched on each side of the zipper and the seams.

I made the facing around the neck,

- and top stitched around the neck afterwords.

This is how the seams looks like on the wrong side.

At first, I stitched the insert for the sleeves, and then stitched them together.

Then the dress is finished :)
